Here is a quick recap of things I did in 2024.
January
- Mostly uneventful.
- Had fun at a friend’s bachelor’s party.
February
- Attended friends wedding and function. First friend in circle to get married, lol.
- Attended Zakir Khan’s show, first standup event. Had some good laughs.
- Worked from office for a week, with many colleagues flying in. Helped re-align and focus everyone.
March
- Took a solo-trip to Varkala, as a free flight voucher was expiring. Stayed at hostel for a week, surfed for first time. Met some interesting people.
- Re-enforced the plan for learning to swim as a basic life skill.
April
- Started taking swimming lessons.
- Went to a trampoline park. Had fun but realised how the body starts becoming less agile as you grow old and why need to take care of it.
May
- Quarterly work from office week. Met some of my team after ~1.5 years.
- Did a quick weekend roadtrip to Bir with friends. Didn’t Paraglide due to rainy weather, but had a good time.
- Continued swimming 6 times a week.
June
- Mostly uneventful.
- Continued swimming.
July
- Attended Piyush Mishra’s concert.
- Did a roadtrip to attend a friend’s wedding in Jaipur. Had a good time. Attended all functions but missed Baarat because underestimated Jaipur traffic, lol.
- Helped Mom in running her Mandala Art stall in an exhibition.
- Continued swimming.
August
- Lost my iPhone on a morning run. Felt disappointed in self and society. Switched back to Android.
- Continued swimming.
September
- Continued swimming for first half of the month, taking daily swimming to ~5 continuous months. Proud of keeping the schedule going and finally learning.
- Workation in Goa for roughly a month. Trip started with office retreat and did hostel hopping for ~2 weeks in Goa.
October
- Went to Gokarna for a week, saw some good beaches. Wrapped up Goa trip with family flying in for few days.
- Met up with friends back in Delhi for Diwali, played Poker and had a good time.
November
- Went to Thailand with few friends. Covered Bangkok, Phuket and Krabi.
- In Phi Phi Islands, swam in the Ocean without a life jacket for first time. As proud of self as ever been.
- Had to cut trip short and return due to some family emergency.
December
- Cut out pretty much all the junk + outside food. Ate clean and healthy.
- Started learning Ukulele.
- Got lower back injury pain to re-enforce the belief how fragile this body is.
What Else
Didn’t cover much work related updates before, but launched some major modules @Wobot.
Summary
Could have been better, could have been worse. Had a good time, we go again in 2025.
